Developer Has High Praise for Uncharted 2
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has received almost unanimous high-praise from media outlets (including PSLS’s 5/5 Editor’s Choice Award), however, this latest nod, not from a media outlet, may be the highest yet. 3D Realms’ George Broussard has some high remarks regarding Nathan Drake’s latest adventure.
Speaking on Shacknews’ forums, Broussard compared Uncharted 2′s singleplayer to that of Half Life 1 / 2. That, in itself, is quite impressive. However, one must read all of his comments to get a sense of his excitement.
“Finshed Uncharted 1 today. It was f**king badass.
Started and am playing Uncharted 2 now. It’s badasser in every way.
If you own a PS3, buy and play BOTH games. Play Uncharted 1 first. If you don’t own a PS3, play the game with a friend who has one.
Amazing single player experiences, nearly, if not, on par with Half-Life 1/2. I haven’t felt this giddy over a game series since Half-Life.
This is epic badassery right here. Believe the hype.”
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is in store’s shelves now. As of the time of this writing, Uncharted 2 has achieved an incredible 96/100 on Metacritic–making it the highest rated PS3 game of all time.

Thought the single player campaign was amazing!? Try the multiplayer. Its awesome playing survival mode with friends. Couldn’t agree more on how bad-ass this game is!
I like the way it mixes exploration, stealth, and shooter into one great experience.
I think it’s also the best looking game I’ve ever seen.

Too bad GTA IV it`s actually the highest rated PS3 game of all time, but Uncharted 2 is the only one that doesn´t have scores below 90, i mean GTA IV, MGS 4, LBP, COD 4 they all have scores below 90 but not U2. Shibby!

and yeah GTA was a huge disappointment to me as well….all the review hype for such a poor game. Yahtzee’s review was the only one to tell the truth.
Fact is when you make a game this good even your peers are willing to do free adverising for you, U2 FTW!

Um a couple years after never? ND wouldn’t throw away all the time and money spent on U2 engine and developing for ps3 only to jump ship and do it all over again for a bit of money.
Maybe if they spent less time playing games they might have gotten around to finishing DNF
I tell you. I’ve never been entertained like this by a video game in my life. I even saw my self clapping at it after i finished it.
I didn’t really enjoy Half Life so Uncharted is better in ever way in my opinion. Nice to hear Naughty Dog and Uncharted getting the praise they deserve. I would like to see those XBox fanboys say now that there aren’t any good games on the PS3…but maybe they’re still too busy playing yet another Halo remake.

Half-Life 2 was a benchmark for story-telling in video games as well as graphics. Pretty much what Uncharted did for this generation, Half-Life 2 did several years back for PC’s.
They did an excellent job on UC2
uh ms cant buy naughty dog cuz sony owns naughty dog since 2001 and no way in hell they give away nd to ms after uncharted 2 lol
