This week, after numerous delays, Trine finally makes it to the North American PlayStation Store. If you didn’t buy Critter Crunch (shame on you!) then make sure to try the demo releasing this week. With the Halloween theme going on right now in the PS Store, we hope to see Burn Zombie Burn 2D! and possibly the long rumored Resident Evil 2 PSOne Classic. PSP owners should be on the lookout for Half Minute Hero, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Trine seems kind of high at $19.99 us, plus I don’t really have the time for it now.
Nice to see Abe on there, for anyone who missed them originally they come recommended.
I think they’re $9.99 each btw.

Chinatown Wars came out YESTERDAY for psp on the PS store so should defnitely not be in the rumored section, sorry guys.

Gonna get that Critter Crunch Demo. Been hearing great things about Critter Crunch and I think the demo will seal the deal of my purchase. Only 6.99 for a great game

The clank portion of the two demos is confirmed for tomorrow. They will have more details on the ratchet demo for ACIT.

Queen! I had forgotten about those great DLC tracks being released this week! Love it!

Lost all interest in Trine. With games such as Uncharted 2, Demon’s Souls (Best RPG I played since Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts 1), Borderland, Ratchet and Clank, and God of War Collection, I have not time or money to spend on this game. This should be a perfect example of how not to release a PSN game.

the clank demo is confirmed for tomorrow and the ratchet demo is next week.
it’s disappointing to not see any new minis games wtf

Castle Crashers mmmmm i like it

Castle Crashers and Dead Nation aren’t until 2010. Might as well take those off the list for now. And I’m pretty sure the first Ratchet demo is confirmed for tomorrow.

Yeah Trine waiting too long to come out. I am too busy with Demons Souls/Brutal Legend/Uncharted2/Borderlands(thanx to the $39 release price) and soon R&C.
Maybe next year if it goes on sale. Hey maybe they’ll blame the poor sales on piracy like everyone else does.
October 21st, 2009 at 5:28 PM
Agreeing with everyone about Trine. It had a great opportunity to release with nothing to compete against; now you’ve managed to push it into Demon’s Souls and Borderlands ($39? That was a no-brainer!) sitting next to me? Not a good idea. Other people have Uncharted 2 and soon R&C? REALLY not a good idea.
And to make matters even worse you’ve now got a very highly-regarded Critter Crunch competing for the casual / lower-price-point game market? Will they even sell a single copy of Trine with this strategy?

no money for Trine this week, too many full retail games to play in the next few weeks (Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, Tekken 6, Borderlands, Modern Warfare 2, Ratchet and Clank, etc.) This has been an amazing Fall for video gamers. That said, I think after making me wait so long for Trine, the developers can wait a few weeks to get my money.

Should i waste my money on trine?? , or should i save some money for Ratchet and clank: a crack in time??
October 21st, 2009 at 7:49 PM
The devs didn’t make anyone wait. They had some technical difficulties. Crap happens. Quit crying about it.
I’m actually going to probably pick up Trine. I’ve heard good things about it, has a platinum trophy, is 20 dollars, which is 10 dollars less than picking it up on Steam. Sounds like an all around good purchase to me even if it ends up sitting on my hard drive for a bit.

I don’t have the time for all the things coming out because I have to get through Demon’s Souls, and am still waiting to get SVR10, and my PreOrdered Tekken 6

I still have $24 in my PSN card. Which should I buy. I really want to get Borderlands, Demon Souls, and NBA 2K10.

@ MakaiOokami
YET, its in Europe woking fine on there PS3’s thats over 29 regions.
“technical difficulties” on an already done platform… hope there sales BOMB in the US.

RE2 is in the rumor section? What about RE3 and Dino Crisis? I wish we were given a release date by Capcom.
October 22nd, 2009 at 12:04 AM
I just want FFVIII *sigh*
October 22nd, 2009 at 6:28 AM
@shadowjin I still don’t feel it’s that big a deal. The only thing I can think of is that they had 2 different teams working on the game. 1 for European localization and 1 for the U.S. Localization and something got overlooked in the American version and s*** happened.
I mean seriously why would they WANT to release it so long after the fact if they had a choice? No company goes “Well we want to release in over crowded times so let’s try and wedge between the games that everyone wants to buy”
October 22nd, 2009 at 9:30 AM
@Makai – agreed.
@PhayZer – NO! US PSN cards only work on a US PSN account! don’t waste your money!
