Free Naruto Episode Available for PSN

Fans of Naruto, the popular comic/manga/anime/movie series already has a good selection of videos available on the PSN store. In economic situations such as the current one, freebies are a welcome change to being nickel and dimed everywhere.

If you are short on cash, Sony’s got your back. Right now you can download a standard definition version of the first episode of Naruto Shippuden for the low, low price of free from the PlayStation Store. Other episodes will cost ya, though, so consider this freebie a teaser. The other three available episodes for this series are available in HD versions.

Millions love this anime including me…The shippuden part of Naruto is d serious part(more blood, mature stuff). The one they show in America was the time where naruto was still a kid(the Wack series).. Shippuden is a whole new series and it’s way way different than d annoying 1st series..
-it sux only d 1st episode of shippuden is free..I’m up at ep 131 of shippuden.(I watch d Jap version with Eng subs)

It’s cool that it’s free; but Naruto is lame. Even DBZ’s better, Naruto is kids stuff…. including the ‘more mature’ shippuden.

First off im not white. And second I have probably watched more anime than you have.
So I can tell you that Naruto is not that good. How can you tell me that a anime that more than 50% of the show are filler episodes is going to be a good show. Naruto the manga is good but the anime is garbage. I did like the show at first but after experiencing time after time arcs that run forever when it couldve been easily shorten to a few episodes is very disappointing and annoying. Blame it on the producers of a show that cannot catch up with the manga. I wont lie if they had made Naruto from a completed manga it probably wouldve been spectacular but at its current form the show is garbage.
Sorry about this rant about something that has nothing to do with gaming. Free is good and I won’t deny the fans of the series. I still watch it even with my dislike of it. : )

Fillers??? That’s odd cuz I’m at ep 131 in shippuden and it’s pretty darn close to the current manga.. U probably watch the kiddie version of Naruto…

They’d have to pay me to watch this show. I don’t know how CoGeO- can stand that show. How the f*** could you stand that 45 minute episode staring contest? There was almost no dialogue except the same rehashes of hte same damn flashbacks you’d already seen.
The show is horribly paced. The show has WAY worse fighting animation than the earlier episodes. Give me a Rock Lee drunken fist fight over any of the fights in Shippuden. I couldn’t stand the series by the time I got to around episode 60 something or so.
This goes beyond fillers and stuff like that. Shippuden is just poorly done.
But ya know what that’s my opinion and you have yours. So just drop it.
If anyone wants to give me a dollar I’ll download the show. But I’m not downloading that s*** unless I’m paid.
By the way if you want to watch the show for free go to hulu as they have it up on there. If you have Play On media server you can stream it from Hulu to PS3.

Naruto is an awesome anime. MakaiOokami u must be confused this with Dragonball Z and watched the Frieza saga so much that u must have fried your brain

ill agree with WtGP its an awesome anime… people just need to sit back and pay attention.. not everything needs to be samurai champolo style.. and Makai lol, yeah.. coming from a guy who thinks Criter Crunch is equal to Zelda or Mario..

I love Naruto. My top three animes are Naruto, Death Note, and HunterXHunter. And to say that anime like naruto are for kids is like saying video games are for kids.

Ok first of all Shadowjin I did not say that Critter Crunch is equal to Zelda and Mario but I would argue that both of them are both casual and at the same time have hardcore appeal.
No WTGP the episode with Naruto and Orochimaru on the bridge around 30-40 episodes when Naruto was turning into the demon fox and getting a 3rd tail they recapped the part where that ero-sensei was explaining the 2 times he nearly died for like the 5th freaking time.
All Naruto and Orochimaru did in that entire 45 minute special was stare while everyone else said “We can’t let him get a third tail” while he was growing his third tail.
Furthermore Dattebayou (the fansubbers doing the episode) reported the line count for the entire episode and reported that the 45 minute episode had less lines than any other series they had subbed to date for that episode.
Even if Dragon Ball Z has long drawn out episodes AT LEAST THEY TALK lol
Naruto was just really boring for me the quality of action to me just seemed redundant. Even though they were training and years had past, it didn’t feel like they were really that much stronger.
There’s really nothing left in the Naruto t.v. series to keep me interested. I’d rather play Naruto games and read the manga. The manga is still good. The series just sucks because they literally cram like 13 pages of manga into 20 – 22 minutes and the manga is going at a slow pace so the anime drags. I stopped when naruto was infiltrating Orochimarus place with Sai and I think Sai betrayed them or pretended to or something. I just lost interest.
I hope they don’t release a Bleach episode for free cause I don’t want to have to argue about it AGAIN with bleach.

I don’t watch anime, but dbz definitely had more screaming and flashing lights than anything else some episodes.

i have no idea whitch Naruto you saw but it wasnt the once ive seen last year from Japan.. that Hulu now…. is SLOWLY translating in CC. How can you compare 1 episiode when you see him transform for the first time in 3 seasons in shippuden and longer with just normal Naruto into a tailed beast… as for the “at least DBZ talked”. That actually shows your lack of Anime experiance with Naruto Shippudden.. in the same espisode, Orochimaru says he wanted to see the trasformation for himself.. which im sure you DIDNT pick up as you have to know Japanese and not wanna be Japanese..they slightly mention it in the Captioned if you watched it with subtitles. Im a big DBZ fan and you should know that everyone mocks DBZ for talking and powering up threw 30min intervals and random fillers till the big fight. Anyone thats seen ANY Naruto can tell that theres plenty of talking and less powering up ala DBZ season style bulls***,.sorry, i just call it how it is. Yeah, thats why you tryed to convince Captainfodder it wasnt casual.. heres your comment incase your having memory issues:

The game is hard as hell in some parts, has a HUGE amount of content has gotten high levels of praise from reviewers, the game is actually so hard in the later levels that they overshot their difficulty and they’re going to decrease it a bit, because at some points it’s almost impossible without luck, but they’re fixing it soon. The game has over 120 levels easily, with multiplayer forms like co-op and versus, survival, I mean what exactly about this game is casual? Is it because a cute furball barfs rainbows after feeding smaller critters to larger ones to make them pop into edible crystals? If that’s the case then Ratchet and Clank, Katamari Forever, Little Big Planet, and Shatter must be “casual game” and blah, blah, blah

What was the whole four tails about? Can you tell me that wasn’t any fillers. It was like 10+ episodes long and all they did was repeat the scenes over and over. I thought I was gonna die how slow it progressed. Obviously fillers
Like I said I have nothing against people liking Naruto but IMO its not that great compared to other GREAT anime.

Ohh Makai you should keep watching that ep wasn’t all that bad and the Current episodes With Jaraiya fighting Pain are freakin awesome.

there pass jiraya/pain Hulu really sucks with imports… and YES the beast detection was crazy and simple lol
