The King of Fighers XII released late July to a lot of hype. Contests and tournaments were held to celebrate the launch of the latest installment in the classic fighting franchise. Now only a few months later, its price has been dealt a critical blow.

Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer is offering The King of the Fighters XII for the PS3 for the low price of $39.98, as part of Amazon’s Deal of the Day program. That’s over $20 off the price of the Ignition Entertainment’s The King of the Fighters XII.

Head on over to Amazon.com now and grab your copy at this low price.

Tekken is the only fighter I need and I’ll finally have a PS3 version on Tuesday. I tried Street Fighter and didn’t like it, MK vs. DC Universe and it was cool for about a month, I had a Tekken title for my PS2 and loved it so I expect much of the same from Tekken 6.

you’re right Johnny, I forgot about the PSN downloadable version of Tekken 5…what I should have said was a version built from the ground up for the PS3…I don’t believe Tekken 5 got the full next-gen treatment

  6. No, it had only basic arcade single player, and got boring for me faster than it would have with the different modes the psp version had.
