Boom Blox is a successful minigame series currently only available on the Nintendo Wii. It looks like the team behind this series is looking to other systems, if a job listing is to be believed.

According to the posting, the Boom Blox team is looking to expand their horizons:

Our last two titles were Wii-based, but our next titles will be for the next generation.

“Next generation,” we assume, is a reference to the two systems with next-generation power when compared to the Wii – the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The listing has three contracted jobs available:

Software Engineer- Systems and Tools (contract)- Req No 23957
Rendering Engineer (contract)- Req No 23960
Senior Engineer PS3 (contract) Req No 23961

There is no indication that the upcoming titles will be in the Boom Blox series, but it would not be a big surprise if they fell in the same genre of party games.

  1. Good deal. I didn’t love the game, but back when I had a Wii, it was definitely a hit as a party game.

load of pants! if these games were as fun as others make out, id buy a wii for it. obviously it cant be that gd, because ive never heard any1 ever talk about it (although i have heard of it).

wii games are shit, and for women, kids n fatties that are looking for a cheat to lose weight by playing games at the same time- and i bet it doesnt work at all! actually wiis are shit full stop! i would easily, easily prefer a ps2 over a wii anyday of the week. there aint 1 game on the wii that i would ever want converted or updated.

VIDEO GAMES AND EXERCISE ARE ENEMIES FFS!
