LA Noire has been somewhat of an enigma since it was first announced back in back in 2004. Though there has been a trailer and back story revealed, more information looks to be on the way.
Early in the day via a few different twitter accounts we found out that Team Bondi was holding auditions for a cast. Since the twitter messages went up talking about auditions for a Rockstar game, the posts have been deleted. However that is not the end of it as it appears Team Bondi is prepared to reveal LA Noire.
At GCAP 09, an Australian gaming event being held from December 6th through December 8th, Ben Brudenell of Team Bondi will be holding a speech titled “Recreating LA – The Art of LA Noire”. It looks like we are getting closer and closer to finding out more about this mysterious game.
LA Noire is in Los Angeles during the late 40’s and puts players in the shoe of a detective out to solve various murders. The game was originally slated as a PS3 Exclusive but has since been changed tosay “Next Generation Consoles.”
As always, stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for all your PS3 news.

I hope it was far enough along in development for PS3 to not matter if it goes mulitplatform. I’d hate to see this game suffer just because they had to do the work twice.

@Timewarp
Are you kidding me? Would you complain about people buying ps3’s if you didn’t have enough money for one? What are you like 7? MOMMY JOHNNYTRUANT BOUGHT ALL THE COOL GAMES I WANT BECAUSE HE HAS MORE MONEY THAN ME IT’S NOT FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I don’t think you’re even reading what you type.
You do realize it’s possible they wanted to make more money by not automatically shutting out the millions of people that own a 360 and/or PC? Wait, you do know what money is right? And how important it is for everything? Yeah people make games to make money doing something they like, you really shouldn’t be complaining so much.

Plus, wikipedia says it’s exclusive. Suck it.

why would sony fund a game that wont be PS3 EXCLUSIVE???
October 27th, 2009 at 6:05 PM
Wiki can be edited can’t it . Wouldn’t bother me either way though. I think we all get kinda tired of our games being exclusive one minute and then right at the end the Developer says ” oh yeah 360 gets this one too and we also gimped the shit out of the PS3 version to be fair to the 360 fans”
Devs need to invest money and time in how to make a PS3 game right, just tell them to call Naughty Dog.

@C3PO
I was kidding, but wikipedia is just as credible as a history book if it has a credibe source, it’s unsourced things you need to look out for.
@tomtoon
Sony pulled their funding a year and a half ago, a 360 version is possible.

i could care less unless it comes out of Sony studios..
October 27th, 2009 at 8:25 PM
sony would probaly sue if this were multiplat because they invested money on this game
October 27th, 2009 at 10:30 PM
since it said “next generation consoles” on wikipedia, i wont believe it til i hear from team bondi themself. even though sony did stop funding, the point is they did funded the game at 1 time and probably made some exclusive agreement out of that so idk how it could go multiplat
