R-Type 3D Blasting Exclusively On The PS3
Will this time be REAL 3D?
If you were a gamer in the ’80s, then this legendary series need no introduction. For those of us that are younger and didn’t play the PlayStation 2 or Portable versions that came out in the past few years, just know that it is a classic challenging sidescroller shooter set in space.
As it turns out, not so final after all!
Japanese magazine Famitsu has recently let use the news that a new version of the game is going to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Tentatively titled “R-Type 3D,” there is not yet a lot of information on the game. So the “3D” portion of the title could mean a traditional sidescrolling shooter with 3D graphics, or a freeform 3D shooter, or perhaps a mix of the two with actual 3D technology thrown in for good measure. At this point it is anyone’s guess, but as always stay with PSLS for any new info as it develops.

well if it has trophies I’d get it. Does anyone else think that window bays on all the vehicles look like dildo’s?

Sweet but what refresh rate wuld your LCD need to do real 3d?

I believe you need a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz.
