After spending much of yesterday morning in the Emergency room and coming back to work today just to get chewed out for not being here and getting slammed with work I was damn sure this was going to be a pretty shitty weekend, but after reading this and knowing I could be playing this Demo tonight, none of it even matters anymore. there is nothing my boss or anyone here can do to ruin my elation that this news brings me.

Sony officially stated on their blog:
“Those that pre-order God of War III at select retailers will receive a voucher code for first access to download the God of War III E3 2009 Demo STARTING TODAY, plus you will receive an exclusive downloadable skin from the following retailers: Amazon, GameCrazy and GameStop.”
Didn’t mention anything about having to be collectors edition there.
I WANT THIS BAD.

I been telling people they should put it in Pandora’s Box for the God of War 3 collector edition on the Playstation Blog. Look like they took my advice.

October 30th, 2009 at 1:52 PM

Just got back from Gamestop. Confirmed demo redeem code for reserving GOW3 (regular version). Downloading now. 2.7GB. Awesome.

$40.00 for a plastic box and some mp3 tunes? hah, take that Mr Recession.
October 30th, 2009 at 3:23 PM
Guess this isn’t for Canada (again). I check around and no retailer knows anything about it (and the Amazon website has zero info on a UE).

why do i get the feeling that the finished game is gonna make naughty dog think twice about their claims that U2 maxed the PS3 out?
‘cos thats what i think its gonna do! U2 is amazing, but the finished item looks nowhere near as amazing as the GOW3 demo even!
