Kinda explains why Japan hasn’t been as eager to pick up a PS3 as they were with the previous PS machines.

It’ll also be nice to see what the guys in Japan come up with, hopefully we see some great stuff over here in Europe and the US.

It’s all about gamer tastes. Their marketing people have told them the North Americans don’t like “Japanesy” games (ie. the success of the 360), so they stop sending them. Demon’s Souls (a western STYLED game) was a shot heard round the world. Here comes White Knight Chronicles too.
