Fans of rhythm games might be in for a treat as another game might be on the way.  Located in this month’s Game Informer is a rather interesting rumor that we hope is true.

According to the magazine, Parappa the Rapper 3 will be coming out for the PS3.  In case you never played the series, Parappa the Rapper was first released on the PS1 and then a 2nd game was released on the PS2.  The game is regarded by many as the first modern rhythm game and has the player repeating a sequence of sounds and buttons.    Sony has yet to confirm or deny the rumor but we wouldn’t be surprised if this is true as Sony published both games and both were very popular, even spawning a children’s animated series in Japan.

  12. I don’t want a parrappa the rappa game unless it’s going to have Um Jammer Lammy involved because I’ve heard that Um Jamer Lammy jwas a better experience all around. besides Parrappa the Rappa was in Um Jammer Lammy…. so hopefully they keep these universes together and provide us with the best of what they have to offer.

    Parapa was OK, but Bust-a-Move was brilliant!

  14. nemo20000 says:

    …or was it Bust-a-Groove? I forget.

  15. @Nemo
    Bust-a-move is the game where you shoot coloured balls at other coloured balls to make groups of three. I have super bust a move for ps2 and thats what it is.

  16. SteelFox says:

    @JohnyTruant5

    Bust a move was a funny ass game when i first played it ..the black girl with the pink hair was my main.. wasn’t there an alien? as for the other thing.. i know the droids not real, which makes sense now based on his points flaring when hes not around. Its pretty obvious when everything is layered into 3-5 word structures in every post. Everyone has been giving shadow there points to test R2D2 and its quiet obvious that DGRCR2D2 is a JOKE. lol. My buddy was laughing since there are 7 posters donating theres to prove a point about the Droid.

    You guys are all tool boxes for Blowing Shadow and it just proves what morons you are.

    On topic Parrapa was a great game and tons of fun to play with friends.

  18. Blowing him? For that kind of language to be effective, wouldn’t we have to be worshipping him? Those points are meaningless lol, it’s like if I gave him 50. it’s just a number on a website.
