With BlazBlue doing fairly well, and the sequel in the works, PSP owners will soon get a piece of the action as well.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, the game will be headed to the PSP in the form of BlazBlue Portable, and it won’t be very far off, at least in Japan.  BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2D fighter that was released on the PS3 and 360 this past summer and enjoyed critical praise from around the Internet.  A sequel has also been announced for both consoles.

BlazBlue Portable is set for release in Japan on February 25th.

I have been tempted to get this on ps3, but I’m kind of waiting for a price drop. This may be a great opportunity to play it, at a lower price. For sme reason I can’t justify a full $60 on a fighter.
