Qore Confirms Ezio Wields Guns In Assassin’s Creed II

After downloading and viewing episode 18 of Qore on the PSN, I began watching the segment on Assassins Creed II and was stunned to come across this…
As you can see by this concept art clearly Ezio has at least one gun in his arsenal, not very subtle for assassinations in crowds but pretty bad ass none the less.
Note to self: don't get shot in the lower back
Here is screen shot of the gun being fired in game.
Veronica Belmont confirms in the video in the AC2 segment that a gun is present in the game too.

Thanks for pointing that out. That’s one of the hard to catch mistakes because it doesn’t come up in the spellchecker.

Well, actually previous trailers had shown him firing a projectile blade… so the bullet and actual gun is a bit of a surprise. I actually thought the projectile blade was cooler looking.

Using a black powder gun dosn’t seem like a stealthy way to assassinate someone now does it?

already knew about this, games magazine’s in the UK pretty much guessed that ezio was firing a gun at the guy in the initial trailer.

This is’nt really news. It has been posted on many websites like IGN and Gametrailers. And I am pretty sure more than a few Dev Diary Videos already show footage of it

It is not confirmed if there is only one gun there may be others, UBI is very tight lipped about the game. I searched google to find if anything had been posted on Ezio and guns but only comments in message boards on ign and such were all I could find, no articles from kotaku or ign on the matter

oh come on devon take the pain, you wanted to give us some news that seemed brand new and it turns out it wasen’t at least be gracious and edmit when someone beat you to it, the UK magazine GamesMaster actually noted that you have a gun by looking at the intial trailer if they could get that from the trailer why couldn’t you?
Though if there were no articules then we can’t except you to know that much. I would say that there’s only one gun in this game though becasue of the whole double blade it may very well be some kind of upgrade as let’s face it double gun looks awesome though i thought PSLS was a professional site no offence but google?! 0_0

Sorry Time Warp but I live in the US not abroad, and this was confirmed by SCEA, Ubi has not officially announced the gun until Sony confirmed it in Qore. I wasn’t under the impression that GamesMaster was affiliated with SCEE, hence confirmed.
