Move over Mario bedsheets–the latest games-as-furniture idea is on the horizon, and it’s a PlayStation fan’s dream come true.
This themed furniture might be making its way to the next gen, as designer Stephane Perruchon has a cool design for a PS3 themed coffee table. The table features two big Dualshock controllers holding up 2 panes of glass. While this is all concept art and may never see the light of day, this would be one awesome coffee table for a PlayStation owner.

I absolutely want that… but it looks incredibly unstable.

looks pretty stable. all you need to make sure of is that the lower level glass is tightly holding the dualshocks together. this way the controller doesnt fall down. You can also weigh the ends of the dualshock as well
I would buy this as a table for my game room

The bottom pane of glass should be bewtween the 1 and 2 shoulder buttons not magically floating between the 2 shoulder buttons (I.E. R2 and L2s)

I have this table at home. Looks great in my game room, but every time I put my drink down on it, it rumbles and my drink ends up on the floor.

nice idea, a giant Ps3 couch would go nicely with it.

I’m sure if you had enough money to offer, you could have one of these custom made.

This guy should at least get some virtual furniture in Home if nothing else. But SCEA should definitely license some PS furniture. I believe SCEJ already does so.

I already have this beauty in my game room, how fitting for something to “put in it”
