EA Makes Bold Claims Regarding Bad Company 2
With the impending release of one of the biggest games of the year, Modern Warfare 2, it certainly is getting its fair share of media attention. However, all the attention focused on Infinity Ward’s latest title is not worrying Electronic Arts, who is currently working on Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Even with a March 2010 release date, EA is certainly making some bold claims.
During a recent investor call, EA CEO John Riccitiello talked highly of his company’s newest FPS.
“I think [Bad Company 2] has every right to see itself as a rival to the number one FPS game that one of our competitors is releasing next week.”
Although he worded it quite carefully, it is pretty obvious that Riccitiello was referring to Modern Warfare 2. Gamers will soon be able to decide for themselves which is the better game–Modern Warfare 2 is releasing tomorrow and the beta for Bad Company 2 will begin shortly.

I can’t wait for this game, I won’t be getting it on release week, but I will be getting it this year.
Also after reading Lens of Truth Modern Warfare 2 looks and plays aweful on the PS3.
Not excited for either…for FPS games i like Bioshock and Borderlands…no military…theme…not really into FPS like that and i like playing the single player FPS games better.Right now I am playing Borderlands,Dragon Age Origins,Demons Souls,Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2.Oh yeah and Numblast…and on friday the God of War Collection…yes I know it comes out on the 17th but I get it on the 13th.
March 2010? Wow that’s putting it right in the way of God of War 3. Risky move I would say. Even Sony has moved all it’s other games away from God of War 3 by at least a month. Still might ge this game instead of MW2.

I’ll go with Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
i don’t like Activision so Bad Company 2 is my clear choice. and MAG.
They are both going to be great games, so I am buying both. Cant wait for tomorrow and can’t wait for the BC2 Beta. Oh and assasins creed 2, so many games to play. I need to quit my job.

I have no desire to buy MW2, but I will be getting BC2. I really enjoyed the first one.
Definitely getting Bad Company 2, the first one was a load of fun and didn’t take itself nearly as seriously as pretty much every other first person shooter out there. Gold Rush is in the running for my all-time favorite game mode and I can’t wait to see the changes they make to it this time around.
