Wow how generous of him, especially considering how much money they made on day one alone. 7M copies of MW2 were sold, 70M x $60 = 420M on day one. Once again… How generous of you Mr. Kotick.

I give props for donating to the vets because even an act of goodness with an ulterior motive still has some chance of good.

However… if they were serious, the CEO’s pay would not exceed the combined amount pledged for the troops ESPECIALLY if they are charging extra for the games in European areas AND charging some 120 or more for some editions of the game.

I will truly applaud Activision when they donate more to a good cause then they donate to a single CEO’s luxury account.

Wow another company that gives money to charity out of the goodness of their hearts, of course i’m being sacastic for bobby kotick to be able to give out of the goodness of he’s heart he’ld have to have one to begin with which already melted when he jacked up the price of modern warfare.

I argree that they should hand over 10% of profit from modern warfare 2 to these people which like giese said would be much more then $1 million.

a small start, they should have pledged 10% of their Modern Warfare 2 sales which I’m sure will be much more than $1 million. I also have a feeling that this didn’t come out of the goodness of Activision’s heart…they just wanted the tax write-off and some positive publicity after coming off as so greedy lately.
