on the fence for the same reasons everyone else has mentioned.

It will probably by dlc maps and the likes, I would be seriously surprised if they announced story coop parts, it just wouldn’t make sense- but i can see extras, like the GTA4 co-op missions (not that style, just more than one person acting on in tangent to complete a mutual goal)

Sorry about the blurry pics I had to take them with my camera phone. As you can see I answered that kratos was a farmer before he served the gods (obviously wrong), I must have been thinking of russel crowe from gladiator or somethin.

If you guys didn’t know there are challenge maps most likely similar to batman arkham. According to the rls there are 5 challenge maps included in the pandora’s box collectors edition, so its likely that dlc will be present in gow3 and likely there will be co op in this mode. Maybe god of war death match, I call dibbs on zeus or the titans next!

But I read somewhere, and on wikipedia itself, that they’ll only implement co-op if they can think of something unique with it, much like the sixaxis function. And last I read, they completely scrapped both ideas as it wouldn’t work out right. I don’t know, I’m iffy on God of War co-op, I hope it’s not a mandatory thing for story mode. It just wouldn’t feel right.

not too sure what to think of this. On one hand, I am excited to see what they can do with online co-op. On the other hand, God of War has always been about the single player. I guess we will have to wait and see

I don’t know. It’s always been about Kratos alone. Who would be the second character(s)? There’s really no one in the GoW universe who they can bring in as a buddy to Kratos because he’s killed everyone! And they certainly couldn’t be more powerful than Kratos as in playing as a god of Olympus. Secondly that would totally be uncharacteristic of the character himself. Kratos is a lone wolf; a badass. He doesn’t need a tag along at his heels.

Maybe the co-op will be implemented as it was in Uncharted 2. That’s a great example of how to implement co-op into a single player game without affecting the story at all.
