Ryu ga Gotoku 3, or Yakuza 3 here in the west, released earlier this year in Japan and while the rest of the world still waits for the game, Sega Japan is moving on with Ryu ga Gotoku 4: Densetsu wo Tsugumono.

The translation of this latest game is Yakuza 4: Successor of the Legend.  Sega Japan has released new screenshots for the game that detail the characters of Yakuza 4 and a few of the environments of the game, which look to be very similar to the Yakuza 3.

Ryu ga Gotoku 4: Densetsu wo Tsugumono is set for release Spring 2010 in Japan.

  1. Karum Says:

Is it correct that the Yakuza games are kinda like a Japanese version of GTA?

  2. Marco Antonio Says:

Mmmm, kinda, but overall no.You can’t go around killing innocent civilians, hijacking cars, or any other wanton destruction on a whim. The Yakuza games follow a more structured storyline.
