3D Dot Game Heroes Secures an American Publisher

On its way to the Americas!

On its way to the Americas!

3D Dot Game Heroes is a quirky title that for the time being is only available in Japan. Sure, you could buy the Japanese version and play it on your North American console, but good luck deciphering that Japanese text! Or you could just wait a little bit longer, since the game now has a publisher for the North American version.

Atlus

It really should not come as any surprise to hear that publisher Atlus has picked up the rights to this title. They have done North American versions of many Japanese PlayStation games, most recently the well-received Demon’s Souls. The game also now has a release date of May 11, 2010. For those still thinking of importing the Japanese version, know that the North American version will only cost $40 when it releases.
