Suspect Steals an Absurd Amount of Games

If you decided to rob a GameStop, what would you steal? A PlayStation 3? Or how about a PSPgo? A recent burglary in a small town Pennsylvania GameStop went way beyond petty theft.
According to police reports, a man stole 100 copies of Modern Warfare 2 from a Meadville, PA GameStop. This was only after he said he had a friend waiting in a car, willing to shoot anyone who would call authorities. The suspect, still at large, stole roughly $6,900 worth of goods.
Was the suspect motivated by the game’s pure awesomeness? Or was he motivated purely be the top dollar he would snag on Ebay? Post your thoughts and feelings in the comments section below.

lol what a coincidence. I was talking to one of their employees and he was talking about how if someone is trying to rob them they have to let them.
I guess someone heard him. lol

Seems like the robbers want to make a quick buck off Modern Warfare 2 on the internet. I can’t believe they stole 100 copies and $6,900 worth of goods. Gamestop should at least install metal detectors or hire security guards.

I like how the robber told the guys in the store that his friend in the car will shoot anyone calling authorities…that sounds pretty believable and totally not a psyche out. Also I like how in the picture the employees look like they dont really care. There like YEAH dude that game is freaking awesome and you’re getting it for a great deal to, wanna pre-order GOW3?

becasue nobody would have a group of henchmen go out and steal every copy of modern warfare 2 as part of a crazy plot to make activiision go bankrupt becasue that’s something i really wouldn’t do and there’s no point checking my garage you won’t find any stolen copies of MW2.

Its Gamestop policy that if they are being robbed they have to fully comply with there demands. So it wouldnt be surprising giving the robbers recommendations of what to steal.
