Seems like it’s been longer than 3 years, I guess that’s because I can’t imagine life without it anymore! HA! I love you PS3, never leave me…until I can get a PS4. You had a slow start but whose soaring to the top now DOUBTERS??? The way I see it we are just now starting to see the potential of the PS3 being tapped. The XBox 360 has already been tapped, maybe only small improvements are left, whereas I think the PS3 can still make giant leaps. Drake will probably be in my living room with me in Uncharted 3 and I’ll be able to sell the treasure we find together for millions of $$$

I love how everything gets released around my birthday. Makes me easy to buy for.
Hell even the first SegaCD units (tray) were released around this time as well. …thanks Mom I know it cost a bundle.

So where do the numbers fall after 3 years? Something like 27-28 million? I’d say the ps3 has done outstanding in what has been accomplished in 3 years considering the competition from 2 other consoles. I find it amazing that each generation of consoles Sony takes chances and risks to bring something new and innovative to the table despite the initial criticism from all over the media. I’m sure by now many will agree that putting a blu ray drive in the system wasn’t a mistake, which was the #1 thing that was picked on. The cell processor and it’s unique architecture. If not for it we wouldn’t have the incredible games like the Uncharted series, metal gear, killzone etc. The ps3 is such an incredible system that I truly cannot wait to see what they conceive for the next one.
