Battlefield: Bad Company 2 USA Beta is a Go
The official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta is finally underway on the PlayStation 3 platform. Only hours ago, the ability to enter the promotional key and download the client became available. However, login issues have prevented anyone from playing this highly-anticipated beta up until now.
According to the official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Twitter page, the beta servers are up:
We are a go in the US, make sure to log out if you’re in-game & install the update, then play some Beta!
Thousands of PlayStation 3 players around the globe are now experiencing this huge upcoming title by Electronic Arts. If you aren’t already in the beta, PlayStation LifeStyle has given out several beta keys already, and if anymore become available we will be sure to make those available.
The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta is only available on PlayStation 3 and PC. The full game will be released on March 2nd, 2010.

I got codes from Fileplanet/IGN and they have failed to load with error code (80023156) some say it is because I tried to soon but I read the PS Blog and Senior Dev Gordon van Dyke said it was going live at 9am GMT so I calculated that to be 1am PST in my timezone so I started then and would get invalid code error so I try again since I knew that the codes weree good. But after 5 min it when to the 800 error code. Since I have two machines/accounts I tried on the other account and it does the same.
I have never seen such a poor method for code redemption, I have been in the Qore Uncharted 2 Beta in June and the Qore and GS Mag Betas and never had problems with redeeming codes early. If this is the way EA does things then I might think twice about buying this game. I have BF 1943 and if BFBC2 has the same bugs then it will not be worth the Beta… Graphics or not

Thats where I got mine and it worked just fine, i’ve heard sony blocks codes that have been spammed, you must have tried too many times before it was up.
