No More Heroes is a Wii game that received great critical reception, but good reviews did not translate to good sales. The game is an M-rated, bloody action-adventure title on a console which has mostly sold to casual gamers, so it was to be expected. A new port has just been announced for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
In addition to the game’s assets being prettied up to an HD resolution, there will be some new features in this port. Titled “No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise,” one of the new modes revealed involves having the female character run around with far less clothing on than before (See the scan of the Famitsu magazine below). Also, although the game was originally controlled by motion, this port will be a buttons-only affair. The port has a Japanese release date of February 25, 2010, but other details remain a mystery for the time being.

Simply awesome. While I have already played this title to death, this one of Wii’s best games. I hope it finds even a bigger fanbase on PS3 because it really is awesome.
