When word broke that Sony Pictures was interested in creating a movie adaption for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, gamers, worldwide, were filled with excitement. Kyle Ward was slated to write the script for the movie. However, Sony Pictures wanted haste on Ward’s script, but Ward was rumored to have taken up to a year to create a compelling script. While a rumor, and not confirmed by Sony Pictures, we may know who is writing the script for the movie adaption of the PS3 mega-hit.
According to a tipster, eager fans can expect Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write the Uncharted script. The duo wrote the script for the currently unreleased “Conan” remake, and are both known for writing the script for “Sahara”.
As always, take this rumor with some salt, as Sony Pictures have said nothing on this matter. We here at PlayStation LifeStyle will try and dig deeper and see if we can get some more solid details.
I can’t wait for this, hopefully it can get Drakes personality right. It’s like no other.
@Joshstork: Or is it?

l’ll buy into anything if it’s uncharted related
Sahara was okay. hmmm.
I’m not happy about an uncharted movie. It’s just another reason for people to complain it’s too Indana-Meets-TombRaiderish and I’m rather tired of that.
is it going to be CG or live action?
Sony got rid of Ward because he is writing the Hitman 2 script and they would have to wait.
@Dano:
Whoa I never knew they were so similar! *Head Explodes*
However, as unoriginal as Uncharted is, originality does not make a game.
damn it! I wanted some GOOD writers. these people are gonna screw up the story.
yikes
