Earlier this week, Pandemic Studios was closed and absorbed by EA games. Many people have been concerned about the future of Pandemic’s upcoming game, the Saboteur. Well, you have nothing to fear.
Planet Xbox 360 has just been told that the Saboteur has gone Gold for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Here is the message they received from the community relations team at Pandemic.
I am very proud to communicate today that The Saboteur has officially gone “GOLD” on all 3 planned platforms (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 & PC). This has been a very difficult week for Pandemic Studios, but does not change the fact that a team of amazing people worked very hard to make The Saboteur a great game that fans will be able to enjoy this holiday season. As planned, The Saboteur will be available across Europe starting December 4 and throughout North America on December 8. Vive La Resistance!
This is great news for anyone looking forward to the release of the Saboteur. Pandemic’s website also mentions a yet to be named Project X, that they were working on before closing. EA kept 35 employees from Pandemic to work on both the Saboteur and Project X. So it can be expected that Project X will eventually be released as well.

I hate to see anyone get laid off. That said , Am I the only one who thinks this game looks mediocre with a side of decent story in?
