When digital copies start coming with custom themes and ingame specials, we'll see what happens to the market.

agreed with cameron. Then again, Atlus games get rare and expensive really quick, so it'll be nice to be able to buy one of their games for full price and have that money go to the developer than get it on ebay at twice its msrp and only give money to people who buy up copies to sell.

I agree, physical copies are better. The PSN version is 6 percent of the sales, but there are a lot of factors in all of this. I am 99 percent sure that this game had preorder bonuses and people were looking at it like "Well I could get a bunch of free crap, or not, all for the same price" and went with free crap. I would. PSN titles HAVE to get a price reduction of some sort in order to be compared.
Remember Atlus had a sale of PSN titles and I bought 120 dollars worth of Retail titles for 30 dollars digitally. (if compared to Amazon's prices)
I really think any negative PSN options are just baseless speculation. I mean fact of the matter if a PSN copy was 30 dollars, and a retail copy was almost impossible to be found for 40 dollars and ebaying for 50... what would you choose? PSN offers you a chance to buy a copy of games that are out of print, hard to find, etc... You have to judge those sales long term, because anything else is NOT being intellectually honest. It's a market trend and impulse buys are more attractive if there's a nice looking case, with cool artwork, and ESPECIALLY freebies compared to just a picture of the game online in a small thumbnail.
So don't make any judgements. I personally feel that 30 million yen worth of sales on the PSN is a good solid amount.and they're probably looking at this game as "Yay we sold quite a bit of copies" rather than "Boo we barely sell any digital copies with no freebies" Atlus takes care of their retail shoppers.

Cameron Teague I think it just goes to show that given the option more people perfer to get Atlus preorder bonuses like soundtracks and artbooks that are usually released with this stuff, and that there are a lot more factors.

The PSN version is 6 percent of the sales, but there are a lot of factors in all of this.
