Do you remember this game?

Final Fight was originally released back in December 1989. Magic Sword was originally released July of 1990. What do these games have in common? Besides being almost 20 years old and from Capcom, they are both sidescrolling fighting games and will both be getting re-released onto the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace.

Coming out next April, these games will not be complete remasterings such as was the case with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. They will feature two graphics modes – regular, which is the original assets, and upscaling, to display better in HD. Both titles will support leaderboards and drop-in co-op play, allowing others to join a game already in progress. Expect more on these games as information fights its way out.
