looks like everyone is at a general consensus…if they weren’t bringing Mass Effect 2 to the PS3 they wouldn’t be afraid to say so. Since they aren’t saying no right away we can assume that it is definitely a good possibility.

Mass Effect has basically been confirmed for the PS3 as E3 if anyone didn’t notice. Anyone remember MS E3 press conference? At the midway point of their press conference, MS said that they will be showing 10 games that are exclusive to their Platform (windows and the xbox 360). Anyone notice how Mass Effect 2 was missing from that list and missing from MS E3 press conference all together? Anyone else notice how MS isn’t promoting Mass Effect 2?

lol not saying no is as good as confirming it. i think its a timed exclusive we’ll see ME on ps3 sometime in the future w/ more contents like ngs2 cuz sony required devs to put more contents on the game if they release it on their platform later than the other

Yeah, I mean it’s completely irrelevant for them to mention Mass Effect in such a conversation but yet they go out of their way to mention it.

I would say the combination of that and the PS3 supposedly taking over the 360 in sales around summer 2010 a clear indicator that Bioware will probably wanna tap into and make more money off the console that’ll be selling more, it’s a double grab for them and they’ll take the opportunity.

I agree with the above posters. Just seems to me that if they weren’t remotely thinking of porting ME to the PS3, then why even continue to acknowledge the rumor behind it. You know if it wasn’t true he would have said a statement with a bit more finality…at least that is my reasoning.

Hopefully we get the Bioshock “better late than never” treatment with ME. I played it on the PC and it was ok, but the Unreal engine doesn’t like my compy for some reason and it made me reboot every 30 minutes or so. I really don’t have pleasant memories of the whole affair, but I don’t think it was ME’s fault as a game; I blame the people that ported it to the PC (Demiurge). Not that blaming someone makes it all better or anything.

ANYHOW, I’m in agreement here – I think there is a bundle on the way soon.

hahahaha I can see the Mass Effect 1&2 bundle for PS3 in my head right now, Fall 2010 and Mass Effect is ours; he’s obviously joking in the same manner sony did with the slim. Judging from his humor they’re probably hard at working on ps3 ports as I type……….
