As of right now the only place you can play After Burner Climax is in the arcade which was released in 2006, but that may change very soon.

According to a listing on both the Australian and Korean rating boards this sequel, to Sega’s popular arcade and console game After Burner, may be on its way to the PSN.  On the Australian rating board it is listed as multiplatform and the Korean ratings board it was submitted by SCE.

The original After Burner was released in 1987 and After Burner Climax was released in arcades back in 2006. As of right now there is nothing else known at this time, but as new info releases we will bring it to you.

  2. OH MY GOSH… This game looks incredible and would be a day one purchase for me!

  3. If this game gets released on the PSN day one purchase.

If it has a plaintum… hour 1 purchase. (Only because there’s no way to know exactly when the PSN store gets an update otherwise it’d be minute 1)

  4. Bout bloody time, been waiting for a port of this for ageS! :)

Now, hows about a port of the House of the dead 4 as well eh Sega?! :)
