Yet another developer has decided to give some info via their Twitter. This one is on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and has to do with upcoming DLC.
In a response to the question “will their be any DLC for MW2 anytime soon” one of the developers responded:
DLC is planned for the wonderfully vague timeframe of Spring. I’ll let you know when we know when it’ll be done.
This really does not come as a surprise since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty World at War both had multiple map packs. What is a surprise is we won’t be seeing it until sometime this Spring. As we get word of a more solid release date we will be sure to bring it to you.

Well i hope its more than map packs and a bit more of extra spec-ops or game modes. Perhaps some single-player parts?

I definitely agree with Joshstork but I highly doubt we will be so lucky as to get what we want. Maybe some more spec. ops. but I think Activision has shown that they would rather spend time on multiplayer rather than single player.

With MAG releasing the end of January they have to do something to keep the game fresh. If not when Zipper takes the battle field and they will win the war.
