After the success of the first TNA iMPACT game on the PS3, it’s not a surprise that the franchise would make it’s way onto the PSP as well. SouthPeak Interactive Corporation announced today it has pinned a new deal to the mat to publish games based on the popular professional wrestling brand Total Nonstop Action and its flagship weekly television program TNA iMPACT!.
The new game, TNA iMPACT!: Cross the Line, will be available for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems (including the PSP®go system) later this winter.
Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing for SouthPeak says:
Their unique take on professional wrestling has captivated a continually growing fan base of millions of people across the world,”
“We look forward to giving those fans the opportunity to go head to head with all their favorite TNA superstars on the go, on either the PSP system or Nintendo DS.”
“We are very excited to partner with SouthPeak to release these games for the handheld systems,”
“They have a great team that instantly impressed us with their passion and determination to work with us on these titles.”

When you say success of Impact! you mean what exactly?
It was a lackluster game but as a TNA fan I’m still looking forward to this one.

Impact was garbage great graphics but horrible gameplay. Should of made it like Smackdown! series instead. Still I wonder why we aren’t getting a PS3 version? Maybe Southpeak wants to test Impact on handheld games first?

Success? Really?
Link?
You obviously don’t mean sales…nor could you mean in gameplay; so how about some clarification. Because once again, my BS-sense is tingling.
Didn’t think so.
