Rumored PS Store Content for 12/03/09

After such a large update (and early) update last week and this week being the week after a major Holiday, don’t expect a massive update to the PlayStation Store. In fact there is very little confirmed and even less rumored content. The star of this week’s update is the Bayonetta Demo. Make sure to check it out.

Well, i’m not a huge fan but my point wasn’t about the quality of any of the games. It’s the fact the only thing this guy can make is DMC games. He left the one company or got fired or whatever, and makes a carbon copy with an absolute maverick as the main character(I think she’s hilarious so i’m pretending it was intentional). As I said i’m not a huge fan, i’ve played all of…I think it was 2, and whatever demos are on the ps store, but to me bayonetta looks like a devil may cry expansion pack.
My problem isn’t how good it is, it’s that the new game he makes is the exact same game he’s been making for years.

You can leave the Political commentary on your own blog. We don’t need to know political leanings and if it were up to me I would put in filters to remove any political references… or remove that post all together. This site is all about games and comments on games. Politics are not needed here unless there is a bill in the Federal or State level that would stop your ability to either play violent video games or game online. And the later could come if we don’t pay attention to Net Neutrality bills.
But DMC would be a game to try.

All he does is makes the same exact games? Are you sure? I’m positive Hideki Kamiya also did Resident Evil 2, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami and those are nothing like DMC. Also he only did the 1st DMC.

Ok, you got me there, I admit I was going off vague memory of an article on him. But those games were also made years ago when he was working for capcom, not a company where he has as much authority as the one he’s in now. With capcom it’s more likely he was given guidelines, and had less actual input. The first game they come up with in a new company is ripoff of a well known franchise made by the company they just left. My bottom line is if you have all the freedom to make any game(I haven’t played any he’s made but don’t doubt the quality) and you make devil may cry Alaskan governor edition, I’m not impressed.
Call of Duty Classic was confirmed and I believe the date for Pixeljunk Shooters was confirmed as well although I don’t remember it off the to of my head but I think it was soon…All in all there isn’t much I’m interested in…I’ll probably try Bayonetta with low expectations and hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I wouldn’t call Bayonetta a rip off of DMC. Why? Because it looks the same? if that’s the case you can say any FPS, RPG, Racing games, etc rip each other off. Also by you saying “devil may cry Alaskan governor edition” shows that you are childish and your points become invalid.

Problem with Palin is the competition for biggest national embarrassment is quite strong with Obama, Biden and Pelosi,.

I like how your argument against me is “oh it looks the same? so does every other game ever made….” Yeah man, modern warfare 2 totally ripped off halo… Think about that though, If I was making a realistic racing game, and so were you, of course they’re going to be similar, that’s real life physics. When you have free range to do whatever the hell you want and you make a game that looks, and plays near exactly like an established series, whether you were a part in it’s beginning or not, you should be ashamed.

I’m Canadian so I don’t focus on your politics too much, but I watch the daily show and colbert report almost every night and palin shows up about as much as those 3 combined(well when she was more in the spotlight anyway). When sarah palin talks it sounds like she’s throwing word magnets at a fridge. She also talked about death panels like they were actually in the bill. I’d say her biggest competition for national embarrassment is fox news.
