Gran Turismo 5 Demo Racing to PS Store Soon
One of the most anticipated games of all time for the PlayStation 3 is the one and only Gran Turismo 5. It seems that the millions of fans wanting to try out the ultimate driving simulator may not have to wait much longer.
The European PlayStation Blog has officially confirmed a playable demo of Polyphony Digital’s anticipated Gran Turismo 5 will be downloadable via the PlayStation Store on December 17th. The above image of the stunning Nissan 370Z will be playable in the demo.
According to the EU PS Blog, the demo will be a GT Academy 2010 Time Trail download, where you can have a chance of earning a place at this year’s GT Academy.
Qualify in the top twenty within your country and you will be invited to a national final event, where you will pit your wits against the best Gran Turismo drivers in the country. If you make it from there only then will you join the elite 20 that will be taken into the GT Academy 2010.

since when is motorstorm a “racing game” in the same manner that gt5 is a “racing game”?
not in the same league, gt5 is to god as motorstorm is to not

I have both and they both accel in their own genre. You can’t compare off-road to on-road titles since they both act differently inside the game engine.

Racing games are boring? I got blindsided by a Lambo last night and watched as it decided to go from landing behind me to landing in front of me all because I hit the brakes to avoid it in the first place. And to top it all off when I realized that I hit the bloody AI I reaccelerated which left me with five seconds of heavy traffic and complete blindness.
I’m looking forward to Gran Turismo Five. It’ll be nice so that I don’t have to continuously ask the question “Am I going to wipe out now?”.
