Straight out of Rockstar San Diego, developers of Midnight Club: Los Angelos, comes another insightful yet enticing trailer, this time for Red Dead Redemption. Following the traits set by the previous Grand Theft Auto IV trailers, this new trailer is both witty, teasing, and completely in real time.
Dubbed the “John Marston” trailer, the latest Red Dead Redemption trailer teases future players an inside look at, obviously, one of the main characters in the western title. Check out the trailer below:

Awesome, i didn’t get a chance to play red dead revolver but from what i’ve heard of this it’s awesome and is more of rockstar’s game then revolver was so hopefull their right and red dead redemption is though from the looks of this trailer i don’t think i have to worry much,
watching this makes me think, how come we haven’t seen a western film in ages? Surely wouldn’t it become popular eventually.

@Timewarp
I saw a movie called Appaloosa(came out 2008) on tv a little while back, and I enjoyed it, I haven’t seen a ton of westerns though so I couldn’t really give you a reference of how good it is, but I would recommend at least checking a trailer.
As for the game, I’m looking forward to it. I never played the first one, but I played GUN by activision, which was a free roaming western and it was pretty fun, and I thought call of juarez bound in blood was great, so i’m definitely looking forward to this.

i thought Bound in Blood wasn’t very good at all. i still think Gun is a way better game and in fact this trailer reminds me alot of it. never played the original Red Dead either but heard good things. this game is shaping up to be epic. it seems that RockStar can do no wrong lately. here’s hoping it out-shines the goofy mess that is Bound in Blood. i’m sure it will.

This looks great, the scene where the horses are walking in the shaded trees, the art direction, etc.
I played all the westerns including the original Red Dead, can’t wait for this one.

Check out the western starring Christian Bale and Russell Crowe, came out a few years back. That was pretty well done.
I somply can’t wait to play this game. Of course, it comes out at a perfect time where it’s not going to have to compete with Final Fantasy XIII or GOW3 so hopefully it gets the attention it deserves.
