Keep on fighting!

Recently it was rumored that upcoming steampunk RPG Edge of Twilight had been canceled, and its developer closed down. The latest rumor now says something completely different.

Representatives from Fuzzyeyes Studios stated that neither the project nor the studio have been canceled/stopped, and while the game has been on hold since October, development will resume in January. “Outsourcing parties” are, according to company representatives, still working hard on the title, and former Fuzzyeye employees stated that problems with publisher Southpeak Interactive held the game up. So who knows what the real story behind all of this is? One thing is for sure – we are going to have to wait until at least 2010 to see if the game is still going full steam ahead. Stay with PlayStation LifeStyle for more on this title as news develops.

so we are getting this now? Stop confusing me PSLS i’m just a human being i can’t take being flip-floped! Is this even going to be any good i mean i don’t even know any other game apart from this one that fuzzyeyes studio made…..And now for something completly differant *shows shot of fuzzyeyes studio blowing up* so we’re not getting the game now?

MakaiOokami, on the last article about this (the one saying it was canceled), you mentioned something about PSN exclusivity and the game being subbed. Where did you hear that?

  3. MakaiOokami Says:

@JasperLoons well if the last article said the game was cancelled then I misread it. i thought the article was about the game not being brought over to America.

There’s always a chance with games that they will get brought over on the PSN rather than see a retail disk. This is happening with Battle Fantasia, an SJRPG, and possibly even Yakuza 3.

I was just saying that even if a game doesn’t have a company to do an English release, there’s still luck for an English translation via the PSN.

    @ Makai
I gotcha. Well, it did actually say it was canceled. Guess that’s not the case anymore though! I was really hoping you meant you had heard Sony was thinking about picking it up and making it an exclusive. I’m sure it would turn out much better that way.

  5. ZemaOner Says:

I’m guessing the recession put a squeeze on the amount of funding they could receive.

Fuzzyeyes looks pissed, not a good thing.

  7. joinsideke Says:

I doubt sony will pick this up, BUT i’m remaining positive.
