Pandemic Studios has given you one more reason why you should buy the studio’s last title, The Saboteur. This DLC that accompanies new copies of the game should definitely be out of sight of moms, girlfriends and wives; to ensure an awkward-free gaming session.
All new versions of the game will feature a code to download a DLC pack, dubbed, “The Midnight Show”. The pack features new hiding spots located within Paris, a new minigame, and the pack’s main purpose: the option to unlock nudity in the game.
The DLC will also be available on the PSN Store, for only $2.99. The Saboteur releases this Tuesday.

If they have to resort to XXX DLC then the game is not worth the purchase.

Anything to increase sales, right?

@pyro_blazen
They are talking about the brothels. From the video I’ve seen, there are little things covering their tits, this just unlocks the ability to have those removed. Don’t worry, no flapping Nazi dicks… at least I hope not…

Maybe they wanted to do it, but didn’t want to have it as a hot-coffee sort of thing where it gets an AO rating because of it.
I mean God of War has nudity and sex mini games (even though the camera pans away) are we to treat that as a way just to boost sales?
All in all saboteur looks interesting and I definitely would like to give it a try. It looks like a good game and it’s gotten some good reviews. Don’t treat it like ti’s a 6.0 kinda game. People have just forgotten that 7.0 is still a respectable score.
Way of the Samurai 3 is getting bashed pretty hard but I’d rather play this over most of the 8s and 9s released recently. It’s about what you want to play and if someone has burned through Red Faction and they need a bit more mayhem maybe this is the game for them to get a bit more destruction. It sounds like the game’s biggest flaw is doing too much with too low a budget and the production values slipped a bit. It happens.

If this boosts sales then good for them. This is a new IP so I’m guessing they are doing this to spur more interest than what might normally be there. Though Makai you have a good point there, the ESRB only rates what is actually in the game as it ships out…

The option to unlock nudity? Hmmm…will I chose it, or will I not? LOL.

the real question is how long will the daily mail or as i call it the PC Patrol get hold of this news and start telling us about how bad this is. I doubt the UK is getting this content becasue of the Daily Fail so i’m not bothering to get excited about this new DLC.

I don’t understand why some people want all these adult concepts in a game, but as soon as there’s nudity it’s for horny teenagers. “Yeah I want to blow up every nazi I see, yeah I want the graphics to look good, yeah I wan’t realistic interactions between people, but make sure the prostitutes and strippers are all wearing pantsuits!”

best DLC for a game this console generation

I have no problem with nudity in games. If a title is M-rated, then that means it’s dealing with more adult concepts, so I don’t see why that only pertains to blood, gore, violence, and strong language.
In this case, though, it looks like more of a ploy to boost initial sales than to enhance the gaming experience. I think this game is going to suck anyway, and even with nudity it’s not going to make me play it.

@JohnnyTruant and Nootfloosh – my thoughts exactly, hahaha.
And hey, I’m pretty sure an upcoming title called Heavy Rain as some boobage in it. Let the media go wild! My god! Nudity in video games?! But this isn’t a movie, its a button pushing interactive experience, and us terrible parents can’t keep our 12 year olds away from it! Get out the Pitchforks! Light the torches! Lets raise hell because our virtual babysitter is turning against us!
sorry – on that note, hey, boobs, they’re cool, I like em, why not? I won’t buy this game because of it, or at all frankly, because I saw the last thing Pandemic released and was not pleased, so I don’t really expect much good here.

It is refreshing to see that most of the posts are positive about this subject. Nothing about America pisses me off more than the fact that violence and semi adult language is ok, but sexuality is a huge taboo. I can not fathom why anyone would be ok with shooting another person (be-it in any form of media) but one of the most natural and important parts of our existence is held with contempt.
I dont know if I will buy this game, who knows… it may not be all that good. but there is nothing wrong with nudity and the shocked look on my wife’s face when it appears would be worth the price of admission.
I guess the real question is, are we talking an unnecessary tit shot like all 70’s and 80’s comedy and horror films? or some good old fashioned Full Frontal? Nobody is expecting porn, but a nice beaver shot could up the odds of purchase. lol

love that they saved this to charge extra for…
every person that buys this game will upgrade- good business plan.
