Borderlands definitely shocked gamers with it’s truly unique gaming style including stylish arts and impressive CG, it delivered beyond most of our expectations for sure. Due to the success GearBox received from the title, it seems they might be gearing up for something bigger than DLC.
According to a recent trademark, it appears that GearBox have trademarked the name “Borderworlds“. Although there is no official confirmation by this by either Take-Two or GearBox, this hints at a possible release of a sequel to Borderlands.

Not sure if I like the name, but I hope they add more DLC and make a sequel. Borderlands was awesome.
Borderworlds would be a great idea for an even larger environment by added multiple planets to go to….or it could also be an MMO style Borderlands which I would have to ignore since I don’t play MMOs anymore.
this great. l’m glad l picked up a copy on black friday. l love RPS games
Why not Borderlands – Out of Orbit
or something. BorderWorlds is just does not roll off the tongue at all.
Maybe even “OuterLands” possibly?
They couldn’t come out with DLC or a sequal fast enough. I absolutely loved Boderlands and I’m not a fan of RPG’s.
Peace,
VG
Borederlands was an ok game… I dont see why they cant just keep adding DLC though…
really the story didnt make it so there was much on either side so its hard to expand there. The monsters were very limited and usually only have a new title *how many are there like 20 tops?* Online play/co op was quite broken… if i have 3+ levels on something i was a god, and if i had -3 levels i could die in a shot… this made playing with friends bothersome.
One of my all-time favorite co-op games. I’m happy to hear this
This game is horrible. Played 5 minutes and quit… 5 minutes too much!
@soldiercell – 5 minutes? that was time enough to… ummm…. follow claptrap to a gate… and maybe shoot one gun? what a waste. theres so much in this game you’re missing.
Well, I’m sure theres better names they could use, but thats not what I care about here. First off, theres a ton of room here for more DLC, which they did promise more, so I’m looking for that first. Second, I could give a crap less about story in this game (I’m usually big on having a good story, but thats not what makes me like this game), so other worlds, lusher locations, I don’t care what the excuse is, get me out of the desert and into some cool looking places like jungles and cities and artic weather and we’ll be set. More character classes, bigger skill trees, higher level caps, gimme all that stuff and I’m totally sold!
That would be great. borderlands is a great Co-op game online or offline. Lots of awesome guns tons of sweet gameplay. Its a great RPG experience thats a unique title.
Never picked up borderlands… given how many of you vouch for it, i might make an effort.
