ModNation Racers Beta Launches Next Friday [UPDATE]
If you are a PlayStation 3 owner who have not yet had the privilege of owning LittleBigPlanet, the Game of the Year Edition is certainly a treat. This complete edition from Media Molecule features $30 worth of DLC, but an even bigger selling point is that it includes a voucher to download the ModNation Racers beta.
We’ve just received word via the US PlayStation Blog, the ModNation Racers beta will be launching December 18th 2009. The beta will run until January 10th, and by then, we may have a solid release date for the title.
Also, for gamers who did not get a beta code, users of the PS Blog will have the opportunity to win one, as well as Qore annual subscribers are said to get a code.
[UPDATE] According to the EU PlayStation Blog, ModNation Racers Beta won’t be hitting Europe until later in 2010.

Any word on how long the beta is supposed to run for? Its kinda unfortunate that its during the holidays, since I have a lot of family to see and very little internet.

I acnt wait, this game looks like a freaking blast and endless possibities…with those two combined how could anyone not want to play this? I wish it released tomorrow.
what the hell? Why are the people who bought the GOTY edition getting this? Are Sony forgetting what put it to there to begin with? People like me who bought the game to begin with, we’re part of this succuss and if anything we should be getting the beta codes.
This is like what their doing with the PSPGo, giving the free game to people who bought the PSPGo instead of owners of the previous PSPs

Are you serious? What do you want sony to go door to door and see who still has it and give them a code? You can subscribe to qore, and anyone that signed up to their mailing list before the 3rd got one(plus they’re giving them out randomly on the 17th). They’re giving them away, don’t complain if you aren’t paying atttention.

The DLC is a good factor, but the beta is what brought me down off the fence. Also, people that already own the game bought one to get the beta because they didn’t know there were going to be other ways to get it, it’s more valueable than DLC to some people apparently.
