UFC 2009 Undisputed entered the fighting ring as a new contender to take the spot of the best fighting game. The title had some impressive sales, triumphing over the sales charts for a long period of time. THQ are certainly more than willing to try and replicate that success with the next installment in the franchise.UFC Undisputed 2010 will make its debut during the 2009 VGA awards. It will give you the “first chance to see the new ultimate fighter in action” stated on THQ-Games.

With other titles looking to potentially dethrone UFC of its status as one of the best fighters on the market, UFC Undisputed 2010 will certainly have some tough competition, with EA entering the fighting mix with “EA Sports MMA“.

Here is a teaser which can satisfy you until the VGA’s.

  1. If the EA MMA game is the one in the commercials, then I am very disappointed. UFC is a great game and for a first try is impressive. UFC 2010 will only get better imo. The EA one, imo, looks like an arcade game and not even close to UFC. Granted, I haven’t had a chance to play it, but I think UFC is going to be hard to beat.

I think UFC 2009 was executed almost perfectly for a first try. You can still win with just throwing punches or if you really want to be challenged you can take the time to really learn how to play the game and learn some advanced moves and that is where the game really shines. There is no much depth to the fighting mechanics, and the graphics and presentation were so impressive that I find it hard to believe that UFC 2010 can even be that much better…I’m sure it will be though, and that is why I’m very excited for it.

the only thing I didn’t like were the controls on the ground. I think it was a good idea, but you could end up with both fighters just humping and having a seizure at the same time, doesn’t usually happen in fights. I thought the stand up was great though, and the career mode was pretty good, although once you make it to the top you fight the same 3-4 guys for a while. Can’t wait to see the vga’s for this.

  4. Dropkick? MMA is NOT professional wrestling.
