PlayStation LifeStyle is expecting a load of new titles to be announced tonight at Spike’s Video Game Awards. Though there will be twelve new announcements, we can already guess three. One is the new Star Wars game, rumored to be Star Wars: Legends. The second is UFC 2010 Undisputed, which we revealed would have a May 25th 2010 release. Finally, the third is Green Day Rock Band, shown by the behind-the-scenes look at the VGAs.

[Update] This was confirmed on the VGAs.

  1. [...] algo y el logo nos hace inclinarnos por la opción de un juego completo. En el vídeo que ponen en este post también ponen imágenes del juego en una ferie de videojuegos (a falta 1:40 del final del vídeo). [...]

Oh, I’m sure to buy that. I only have the original Rockband for my PS2. And have yet to get one for my PS3. I hope they would put songs from MEST or Good Charlotte cause it seems perfect with it. I’m waiting for a Pantera Rockband or Slipknot Rockband. :P

    green day….ewwww……..

  4. I hear you get a platinum for hitting a fourth chord in a single song…

Does somebody actually want this? I must be missing something.

  5. I am utterly sickened by this stupid venture. Harmonix should NOT be doing the same shady business as Activision. This is NOT some kind of anti Green Day bitch fest either. Sure… they are a pretty good band. Not as goods as they used to be, but reasonable with at least one good song out from time to time. I hold this game with the same regard as pretty much every other single band music game that has come out. The ONLY one I understand is the Beatles and its because they are a HUGE iconic band. Like them or not (and I personally hate them) they are big enough to support a music game on their own. Green Day, Metallica, Van Halen … some of these are big names but not enough for their own game. Whats the point? to have avatars that look like the band? who fucking cares? who even watches the animation while they are playing anyway?
I am pissed at HMX for beginning their decent down the hellish road that activision has been running full speed on for the last 2 years.

We DO NOT need more disks, just more songs.
