LittleBigPlanet Hits The High Seas
When LittleBigPlanetwas released last October, Media Molecule promised a steady dose of new content, such as new costumes, new music, and new levels. While they’ve delivered on the first two, only one new level pack has been released, with that being the Metal Gear Solid level pack. All of us LittleBigPlanet users are in luck! A Blockbuster Movie themed level pack has been unofficially revealed and it might just surprise you!
Remember when Disney Interactive and Media Molecule announced that there would be OFFICIAL Disney themed LBP Content and the above image was released? Well it’s been unofficially revealed the the next LBP Level Pack will be based on none other than Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBEEN blockbuster movie!! What better way to introduce water to the world of LittleBigPlanet than to battle across the Ocean against pirates and creatures of the deep blue sea!? No word has been released if the costumes of the POTC characters will be bundled with the pack or if you will have to buy them separately. If you check out the list of trophies here, then it seems that the Water level building tool will be a part of the pack or not.
The best part of it all is that it’s rumored that the Level pack will be hitting BEFORE the end of this year and if this is true, Media Molecule should be releasing some Official media soon about it.

I’ll definitley pick this up immediately. I love it when they release more levels for LBP and wish it would happen more frequently.
I spotted this and I sent them an e-mail about it. Not sure if they posted this up after looking at my e-mail, or if they ended up spotting it themselves. Nevertheless it dropped my percentage down from 100% to 86% so I will buy this to 100% it again
Presumably this will make use of the new water effect.
I have the little big planet water beta, To be honest the water is not that cool. it’s very limited on what you can do with it. it reminds me of old mario and sonic swimming levels. I think it’s a good idea, but they need to improve it. it’s not too impressive right now. disney costumes seem to be okay. I hope they have some free one’s.

.. i used to play with my wify but my sixaxis doesn’t work fine anymore … so only 1 player ..
until i get myself another DS3 …
must get the other levels too ..

It’s about God damn time MM! You’re sitting on a gold mine and you final pick up your pitchfork? You could have been putting out great DLC, instead I’ve had to endure sackboy costumes? Costumes?! WTF? It’s about time!
