This past Thursday the long-awaited PSN game from Q-Games, Pixeljunk Shooter was released on to the PlayStation Store. However according to a tweet from Dylan Cuthbert, President of Q-Games and Executive Producer of Pixeljunk Shooter, that’s not the only place you can purchase the latest edition to the Pixeljunk series of downloadable games.
If you’d rather buy your PlayStation Network titles along with your normal holiday shopping online you can always look to Amazon.com. Pixeljunk Shooter has already been released on Amazon’s PlayStation Network Store
for the price of $9.99, same price as the PSN PlayStation Store.
Look for our Pixeljunk Shooter review coming soon, in the mean time, we highly recommend the game. Be sure to pick it up, whether you use the PlayStation Store or Amazon.com is up to you.
This game is really great.
The game is great but super short. They need DLC for it and ASAP.
What is the point of the Amazon PSN store? All the prices seem the same so why not just buy it direct?
Not only is the game a lot of fun, but it runs far better than I would have expected in ad-hoc Remote Play.
I got the game, it has me hooked. As a matter of fact my 80Gb PS3 MotorStorm console just YLoD when trying to launch the game after taking some time off from playing it earlier launching it from inside Home… But I had a new slim to get back into the game and now I am past the game save on the other console so I can maybe consider the out of warranty repair.
I hope you get your original 80GB fixed SPD55 – those older machines were beasts compared to the newer versions…I had mine stolen from me
I miss the 4 USB slots and media card reader, and of course the backwards compatibility. I didn’t use them much when I had them, but it’s something you take for granted until you get it stolen from you or lose it to console failure….
Anyway, I usually don’t care too much for games like Shooter, but I can’t get enough of it! All of the physics within the game are amazing. I never thought I could have so much fun with something so simple! I also feel the same as nikrel does…why use the Amazon PSN store when you can just buy direct for the same price?? It doesn’t seem to be more convenient or cheaper by any means so I don’t get it….although I just realized they usually don’t charge tax so maybe that is the one benefit.
that’s like 1 dollar though, isn’t it?
YLoD is a bad selling pitch, haha
