Battle Fantasia has already seen a retail release on the PlayStation 3 in Japan and Europe last year and it now it will be coming out in America next week, but for the PlayStation Network instead.  The game is being published by Aksys Games, who knows a thing or two about bringing a full release onto the PSN as they are also publishing Record of Agarest War.

Battle Fantasia features fast-paced combat, anime-styled graphics and some over the top effects.  The game features a heavy text based story for a fighter and its development has been headed by Emiko Iwasaki, who was formerly an illustrator for the Guilty Gear series.  With a holiday on the schedule for next Thursday we figure this should see a Tuesday release.  No word yet on price or the size of the game.

Anyone else itching for a good fight?
