Heavy Rain is on the early 2010 forecast. Because of that, plenty of info has been pouring in as of late. Talk of DLC “episodes” have kept gamers’ interest piqued. The first of these episodes is coming as part of a pre-order incentive revealed today.
The first of these episodes (valued at $4.99 each) which have been dubbed “The Heavy Rain Chronicles”, will be available at release only by pre-ordering Heavy Rain. If you don’t pre-order, you’ll have to wait for the first two episodes to hit the PS Store at a later date.
These episodes expand upon each character’s story, each being set either before or after the events of the Heavy Rain story. These will give more insight into each character’s thoughts and motives.
Heavy Rain: Chronicle One – The Taxidermist will feature investigative journalist Madison Paige in one of her first cases tracking down a serial killer. Most of you are familiar with this episode as it is an expansion and update to the original “Taxidermist” demo that received such positive response when shown last year.
Again, the only way you’ll get to enjoy the first of the Heavy Rain Chronicles on the game’s release date, is by pre-ordering. Do yourself a favor and pre-order now!

I’m glad they didn’t get rid of the Taxidermist scene, as it looked really good. I’ll be pre-ordering this game pretty soon. Hopefully we will get the official release date soon.
Awesome! I don’t think too many people can complain about “this DLC should have been included in the game if it’s already done” either since these “episodes” just explain the stories of the characters before the story of the game instead of just adding on to the end or beginning of the main story itself! Can’t wait! I won’t pre-order it yet though…I want to make sure I wait until any pre-order bonuses are announced and see where I will have the most rewards to spend at that time!
Yep That would be cool. The taxidermist was a cool lttle scene.
Is this just for amazon or for anywhere you can preorder?
kind of odd that this game would have DLC but what game doesn’t these days
we really need a release date for this game.
