THQ has some popular-but-not-quite-blockbuster franchises in Saints Row and Red Faction. The latest sequels, Saints Row 2 and Red Faction: Guerrilla, did well, but did they do well enough to warrant more sequels?

If one Duke Tong’s LinkedIn profile is to be believed, the answer is yes. His Experience section indicates that from May until October 2009 he was in charge of managing art assets for THQ for the following games:
So it looks like more entries into these series are coming our way. The latest date for Saints Row is in the 2010-2011 fiscal year, while nothing has been penciled in yet for Red Faction 4.

Red Faction 4 could be great. Could be. They had a great thing going in 3, but it kinda feel short, with an extremely short story line, and an overabundance of side missions. Reverse that and we should be cool. It’d be nice if the environment was more than just red desert everywhere too, it got boring looking real quick.
