ModNation Racers Beta Spawning Awesome Creations

12/20/2009 Written by Cameron Teague

ModNation Racers is the next game in the Play, Create, Share genre and with the beta just recently underway it looks as though people are jumping behind that motto, much like they did in Little Big Planet.  However upon looking at the screenshots below I think there are a few things that one might say about the upcoming game.  For one thing, the character creation looks 10x as deep as that in Little Big Planet and secondly, sackboy has some competition in the category of uber cute mascot.

Take a look below at some of the great creations so far which include Bert from Sesame Street, Kratos, Mario, and Master Chief!

ppl who created those r amazing. most of the stuff r still locked in the beta and they still able to make mario, helghast, subzero, old snake, etc w/ very limited stuff. imagine what they can do w/ full game where all the stuff will be there

originally i planned to spend hours and hours creating my own unique character but i gave up cuz there werent a lot of stuff to choose from like i think theres only 4-6 type of eyes u can choose, few ears, nose to choose etc… but i definitely will be able to create what i want in the full game

most of them are impressive but let’s face it, the one of the thing would take about 5 minutes to do and only made it on here because it’s supposed to be a well known character…mine isn’t a well known character but I think it’s pretty sweet

  5. Cant wait to have this game come out. The beta is good but it needs to allow just a bit more.
