Rumored PS Store Content for 12/22/09
The last PlayStation Store update of the year is here. What does that mean? It means a new exciting year of content is almost upon us (and it means I get a week-long break from this time-consuming, research-intensive weekly feature). As 2009 comes to a close we here at PlayStation LifeStyle want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Feliz Navidad, Happy Kwanzaa, or whatever else you may celebrate this Holiday Season. We also wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
With it being very last week for the PS Store team to finish their holiday shopping (they gotta shop too!) it’s likely that this week’s update wont be as massive as last week. But that doesn’t mean we still aren’t in for a great update featuring its own Massiveness with Zipper Interactive’s MAG open beta which will be available to download tomorrow in the US PS Store. Also, as weather out side is frightful, Polar Panic will be so delightful as it makes its PS Store debut. It might be cold outside but not for LittleBigPlanet which is releasing its Water Level Pack / Pirates of the Caribbean DLC. For those of you with a Japanese PSN account, you really get to ‘end’ the year with a bang with a demo for End of Eternity which is already available at the time of this writing.

really hope socom fire team bravo 3 gets a demo tomorrow.
I want to see what End of Eternity is like. The LBP content is going to be pretty rockin’, too.
Weak updates.. Hopefully 2010 will yeild better updates than this.
just checked the updates for the Japan and Hong Kong stores … the HK update includes Little Big Planet premium avatars, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t make it to NA this week. No other surprises, yet.
wow 97%? is that an actual accurate figure? cause thats pretty good. I know you guys haven’t steered me wrong yet though, so kudos to that. Any word on how long that MAG beta will be open for?
From Jan 4th to Jan 10th
The MAG beta will be available to download on the US store today, it’ll be playable on Jan 4th and will close on the 10th, so it won’t be open that long, but there is always the chance that it will be extended
