SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 Not Ready for Deployment

Although the tactical PSP shooter, SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3, has been delayed numerous times by developer Slant Six, it looks like there will be at least one more delay in store for the game. Slant Six has been awfully quiet on the situation, as the game was originally scheduled for a late 2009 release, and has suffered long standing and questionable delays.

For un-specified reasons, the pushed-back January 12th release date, is not going to happen. Whether it has to do with the development of the game, or if it is a crowded launch window, is not yet known. However, according to a SCEA rep, a new and solid release date is going to be announced “in the coming weeks”.

Sounds like a conflict of MAG interest on Sony’s part. Even though the game is a totally different platform but it is in the same Genre.
