Sorry Capcom fans. It seems as though some major titles coming in 2010 have been delayed. Though this should not surprise many, as the company has already pushed back Dark Void into 2010, which was scheduled for release this year. What may surprise some though, are the titles that did get delayed.
Major Capcom titles Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, and Dead Rising 2, have been pulled out of Q1 2010. Capcom does not have set dates for the titles, though the games do plan to be “spread across all four quarters” of Capcom’s fiscal 2011 year. Unfortunate news, as this begins April 2010, and goes until March 31st 2011.
However, there is some good news to bring the readers. Dark Void was one of the titles from Capcom not to be delayed this time, but you never know if it will be again. Stay tuned on PlayStation LifeStyle for all your Capcom news.
that’s really lame
Weak Ass Shit
Oh well.. Megaman 10 and dark void 10 might make the Q1 release.. Pretty bummed about the lost planet delay.. the demo is amazing.
There’s 29 million PS3′s out there, and stuff like Uncharted 2 sells 2.12 million. That means 93% of PS3 owners are left to buy some other game. But I guess they don’t have enough confidence in their products that they could compete in the same quarter that a AAA title comes out? Maybe I shouldn’t have too much confidence in their products either.
Sounds like they looked at the 2010 year and thought we only have 4 big games coming out? How many quarters are in the year? Hmmm I have a idea. Hopefully they are doing it to improve the games.
If they are doing it improve quality, I’m all for it. I would rather wait for a good game as opposed to getting a flawed game ASAP.
Dark Void is the only thing I want from Capcom, and it’s not on this list so YAY!
