Ubisoft’s Incredible Offer on Avatar DLC

12/24/2009 Written by Paulmichael Contreras

Avatar, the current blockbuster gracing a theater near you, also has a videogame out on all major consoles. DLC has even been released for it, and in the spirit of the season developer Ubisoft has put a nice price on the pack.

Ubisoft recently tweeted the following about the DLC:

“We’ve got exclusive unlockable content & weapons for Avatar: The Game (X360/PS3/PC). BTW it’s free! … Merry Christmas!”

A quick glance at their included link shows that the DLC includes a Na’Vi bow pack, RDA Flamethrowers, grenade launchers, and M60 machine guns. Who knows what else this pack contains? Apparently the vouchers for this content are limited in number, so grab one while you can!

I thought the game was lame….

    MERRY CHRISTMAS, btw

  2. The game might not be that good, but the movie is great.

  3. I will probably never play the game because of how great the movie was. However I got 2 codes… 1 for PC 1 for PS3… never know when you’ll find a 5 dollar game.

I grabbed a code just in case i rent this or buy it very very far down the line when its about $10-$15 price point

  5. Gosh, Avatar is BY FAR the greatest movie of all time. You MUST see this masterpiece.

As far as the game, it’s good for a movie game, but it’s obviously not Uncharted 2 or Kingdom Hearts.

Still, the world of Pandora is fascinating enough that I enjoy it.

  6. [...] Ubisoft’s recently unveiled title I Am Alive has been largely mysterious since its original debut. Other than the fact that it has been announced as an action-adventure title set to release on the PlayStation 3 platform in 2010, very little is known. Unfortunately, the suggested release date of 2010 has already been delayed. Ubisoft has confirmed that their title in development named I Am Alive has been delayed to 2011. As with release delays with titles such as Gran Turismo 5 and Bioshock 2, the delay comes as both a surprise and a disappointment. [...]
