PlayStation Home to Celebrate the New Year
Now that Christmas has come and gone, many are looking forward to New Year’s day which is quickly approaching. This year has been a great year for the PlayStation family with the addition of several award winning titles as well as the new PlayStation 3 Slim. Now is a great time to celebrate with other PlayStation fans worldwide in the popular PlayStation Home.
Sony has revealed that they will be celebrating the New Year with an event in the central plaza of PlayStation Home. Not only will items be awarded, but there will also be a dropping ball to signify the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. The following was posted on the official Sony PlayStation Twitter page:
Grab special New Year’s Eve items in PlayStation Home and watch the ball drop in Central Plaza at 11:59pm on 12.31.
With the addition of several Home Spaces as well as dozens upon dozens of new items and clothing, PlayStation Home has grown exponentially. Now is a great time to hop on and check out all of the great additions and also participate in the New Year’s Eve event.

That’s a very old picture of central plaza. Looks to be in the closed Beta version as everyone is still wearing default clothing items, which is not the case now, where at least every other avatar there is wearing something they purchased or won for clothing items

hello ..
i’m on HOME almost 3 – 4 times a week, yet i’m on the SA/European one so no central park …
i wasn’t on it on the 31.12 so maybe i’ve missed some things.
but yesterday i won the Audi apartment with the e-tron proto as deco

home keeps screwing up for me, every time i go in i can almost be certain that before i log in it’ll screw up and disconnect me a couple of times.
